The founding manager traveled back to Malawi early December for a holiday where she spent most of her time with the athletes. Different programs were carried out over the span of the three weeks she spent there. One of the main programs was to introduce the girls’ football team which comprised of girls between the ages of 12-14. After a month of conducting trials of the girls before Founder visited, a list of 16 girls were successful and are the ones that make the girls’ soccer team today. The following are the names;
Another activity was assessment of academic level of each athlete as an individual. Once that was completed, Math tutorials were conducted daily within that duration by the Founder herself.

She also conducted an induction for both teams where she explained in detail what the academy is all about, what it wants to achieve and how and of course what roles and responsibilities they need to obey as an athlete. On top of that, she also clarified how T’OSA Athlete Book (TAB) needs to be filled by athletes. TAB is a book that is filled by the athlete on a daily basis recording their plans, goals achievements, failures which covers a period of a month. A provision of supervisor’s sentiment towards athlete’s recording is included in the book.
